Twisted Tales

Twisted tales.png

What if the fairy tales we all know and love told a different story? What if the heroes became the villains, or there was an alternate ending?

The ‘Twisted Tales’ programme aims to encourage children’s imagination to run wild.

We will read, watch, listen, act and re-write our own versions of these classic tales… with a twist.

This programme is designed to develop the children’s understanding of writing. We will be focusing on of sentence structure, grammar, punctuation and language features. Using their imaginations, we will look at their own interpretations and versions of the stories for them to write their own. With a mix of handwriting skills and typing on the computer, the children will develop their writing skills using grammar and punctuation.
