Do you have an inquisitive child whose vocabulary is mainly made us of ‘who, what, where, why and how’? We are diving into the biological world this term discovering the different habitats, food chains, plants, animals and much more.

With a very hands on focus, we do a different investigation each week and learn how to hypothesise, record observations, draw diagrams and form conclusions.

Learning outcomes

 
  • To identify the different types of species

  • Learn about different habitats and eco-systems and the creatures that live in them

  • To use scientific words to describe materials

  • To hypothesise each experiment

  • To learn about fair testing

  • To construct a table to record findings
