Maths, business and accounting through organising, planning and designing a local event
In this programme, we will use numeracy and business skills to organise a summer music festival.
We will investigate the local area for possible venues, create a theme and design plans for the festival site. Whilst developing their festival, students will gain knowledge of cost-effective planning, how to manage time efficiently and successful advertising strategies.
Each week they will further develop their problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Children will advance their entrepreneurial skills as well as their numeracy and creative thinking skills through this programme.
