Have you ever thought you could plan an event better?

Or how much work goes into organising festivals?

Come along to discover how much effort, planning and consideration it takes to organise a summer music festival and how we use our numeracy skills in various business roles.

In this programme, we will use numeracy and business skills to organise a summer music festival.

We will investigate the local area for possible venues, create a theme and design plans for the festival site. Whilst developing their festival, students will gain knowledge of cost-effective planning, how to manage time efficiently and successful advertising strategies.

Each week they will further develop their problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Children will advance their entrepreneurial skills as well as their numeracy and creative thinking skills through this programme.
